About us
The NVC Conflict Response Group is a global network of experienced peacebuilders, mediators, and conflict resolution practitioners committed to applying Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in complex and high-stakes conflicts. With decades of collective experience in crisis mediation, trauma healing, and systemic change, we have supported communities in over a twenty countries, helping to de-escalate violence, restore trust, and build pathways to sustainable peace. By bridging NVC principles with contemporary peacebuilding practices, restorative justice, and trauma-informed methodologies, we offer a unique, interdisciplinary approach to conflict transformation.
Through collaboration with governments, humanitarian organizations, civil society actors, and educational institutions, we work to de-escalate violence, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and strengthen resilience in communities facing the profound impact of conflict.

Nonviolent Communication (NVC), developed by Marshall Rosenberg, provides a relational and needs-based approach to conflict that goes beyond traditional diplomatic or legalistic interventions. By shifting the focus from positions to underlying human needs, NVC fosters deep listening, trust-building, and the possibility of mutual transformation.
